What this site does
The site is a static advertorial, a company page and this privacy page. There is no account, no checkout, no newsletter and no form. You can read the article and follow one external link without giving Bentree your name, email, address or payment details.
Personal information
Bentree does not ask you to submit personal information on this site, because there is nowhere to submit it. Server logs on the machine that hosts a copy of these files may briefly record a technical request, such as an IP address and the page requested, in the ordinary way a web server does. This published site does not add analytics, advertising pixels or a tag manager.
Cookies and fonts
The pages themselves do not set a cookie and do not load Google Fonts, analytics or an embedded video. Typefaces are files stored on this site. If you follow the link to Amazon.com.au, that site is separate and has its own privacy practices, cookies and account tools. Bentree does not control them.
The external offer
The article links to one Amazon.com.au product page. If you buy there, the contract is with the seller on that site, not with Bentree. Bentree may receive a commission or other payment for the referral. That is disclosed on the article.
Australian Privacy Principles
Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, Bentree's starting point is simple: do not collect personal information you do not need. This site is built so that a normal visit does not hand Bentree a name or an email address. If that changes, this notice will change first.
Complaints
Privacy complaints about Australian organisations can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au. The ABR extract used for the publisher's identity does not publish an email address, and this site does not invent one.
